Prayer Challenge Forty-Five

DEVOTIONAL: “Blessed is the one whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man against whom the Lord counts no iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no deceit.” Psalm 32:1-2, ESV.

CHALLENGE: Prayer of Confession. This is the second part of praying ACTS. While it should never be our only reason to come before the Lord, confessing our sins is still an important part of connecting with the Almighty. Kendrick tells us, “Confession is prayer that gets honest about sin. Getting right and staying clean before God is necessary to remain close to Him and be effective in prayer.” What in our lives in the Holy Spirit convicting us of? What is keeping us from God’s presence? Are we affirming our sins to God today in our prayers and lives?
