Prayer Challenge Forty-Three

DEVOTIONAL: “First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people.” – 1 Timothy 2:1, ESV.

CHALLENGE: Prayer can come in many forms. The way we pray tells a lot about our relationship with God. The Kendrick brothers use the common acronym ACTS: adoration, confession, thanksgiving, and supplication. “You don’t need to always include every type of prayer when you pray.” But it is important that we regularly do pray with these elements, some or all. Which aspect do you use most in your prayers? Are we praising God first ad seeking after His will before our own?

We’ll be looking at each one of these forms, ACTS, in the weeks to come.
