Prayer Challenge Twenty-Seven

Devotional: “…and may the Lord make you increase and abound in love for one another and for all, as we do for you, so that he may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all his saints.” ~ 1 Thessalonians 3:12-13, ESV.

Challenge: The Apostle Paul prayed for the churches he planted, his epistles have good examples of them. D. A. Carson says Paul’s prayers are “A product of passion for people” and “A continuing passion for people”. We all have people we love to be close to and yet find ourselves a far distance from them. This can be either physical or spiritual distance. This should never hinder us from praying for them. Who in your life are you earnestly praying for?
