Prayer Challenge Twenty-One

Devotional: “For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.” ~ Matthew 18:20, ESV.

Challenge: Praying Together… Praying alone has its benefits, but so does praying with another person. Praying alone can bring us closer to God. Whereas having a prayer partner (e.g.: spouse or friend) or even praying as a family is a good teaching/learning experience. D. A. Carson writes, “If you know how to pray, consider seeking out someone else and teach him or her how to pray.” If you are on the opposite end of the scale and “you know little about prayer, then consider seeking out someone more mature” to train you in prayer. Do you set aside time in your week to pray with a friend or your family?
